The (1992) film, Sister Act starred a young Whoopi Goldberg who played a strong willed and illustrious lounge singer Deloris Williams also known as Sister Mary Clarence covering as a Nun to hide away from her ex criminal boyfriend while balancing the stress of producing a broken youth choir. At the end of the day, she would have appreciated something delicious but strong hence Tequila, Tequila.

O-DOG

TANQUERAY, BLUEBERRY, LEMON, TOPPED W/ SODA

Inspired by the (1993) LA based Classic film Menace II Society. Lorenz Tate’s character O-Dog was described as a young “free spirted”, passionate yet misguided teenager who loved his Gin and Juice despite not being of legal age. We don’t think he cared.

NISI

HENNESSEY, STRAWBERRY, PEACH, SPRITE

Inspired by Halle Berry’s character on the (1997) film B*A*P*S, Nisi was the perfect balance of savvy, witty, and determination producing a one-of-a-kind character. It was only right to dedicate this cocktail to Nisi.

LENOX

SELVREY CHOCOLATE RUM, BANANA, PINEAPPLE, COCONUT

A very underrated character in the Hype Williams (1998) film Belly, Lenox the unapologetic and proud Jamaican King Pin who embodied courage and wisdom in the midst of adversity and chaos. Our rum punch reflects the extraordinary qualities of the Lenox’s of the world.

NINA

MAKERS MARK, LEMON JUICE, ORANGE

Love Jones (1997) is one of the most iconic films of all time. The love story between Nia Long’s character Nina Mosley and Lorenz Tate’s character Darius Lovehall is captivating in many ways. Nina was this young, beautiful and strong-willed woman who exhibited a sense of boldness. This cocktail is a perfect balance of bold & beautiful just like Nina.

SUGAR RAY

TITOS, BAILEYS, SIMPLE SYRUP, blaCk coffee

In the (1989) film Harlem Nights the legendary Richard Prior played a character named Sugar Ray during the Harlem Renaissance era. Sugar Ray received his nickname by being sweet, smart and a visionary. A cold brew-based martini featuring a local blaCk coffee shops product is exactly what we feel like he would enjoy on his velvet sofa in his NYC Brownstown at evening time.

STELLA

CASAMIGOS REPOSADO, COINTREAU, LIME JUICE, (ADD JALAPENO FOR SPICE)

Angela Bassett’s character Stella Payne in the (1998) classic film How Stella Got Her Groove Back was unexpectedly let go from her job only to plan a vacation to Jamaica to rekindle a romantic connection with a character named Winston played by Taye Diggs.
